Stefan Crichton serves up a pair of runs in Monday's loss

by Jon Mathisen | Tue, Apr 13th 2:22am EDT

RHP Stefan Crichton allowed a pair of runs on two hits with one strikeout and one walk over 2/3 of an inning in the D-Backs 9-5 loss to the A's on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Crichton entered in the top of the ninth inning with Arizona losing 7-5 and promptly gave up a pair of runs via Matt Chapman single and a Sean Murphy double. The 29-year-old righty has struggled in the early going this season, putting up a 5.79 ER and 1.93 WHIP over 4 2/3 innings (six appearances). Crichton picked up five saves for Arizona during the shortened 2020 campaign but hasn't received a save chance yet this year. After Chris Devenski was placed on the restricted list last week the thought was that Crichton would be next in line for save opportunities but there simply haven't been any over the last six games.
