Zac Gallen (forearm) was activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of his scheduled Tuesday start against the Athletics. (Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Gallen suffered a hairline fracture in his forearm in late March. He threw 68 pitches in his last simulated game and ultimately ended up missing just two starts. The 25-year-old will most likely be on a pitch count Tuesday as it’s unclear if he’s fully stretched out. Gallen owned a 2.75 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and an 82:25 K: BB across 72 innings in 2020. Fantasy managers can safely insert Gallen into their starting lineups.
