Dylan Carlson goes 3-for-4 in rout of Nationals

by Lucas Spence | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, Apr 14th 12:06am EDT

Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson went 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in a 14-3 beatdown of the Washington Nationals on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Carlson homered three times in his first six games of the season, so power hasn’t been an issue. However, batting average had been an issue. But Carlson has raised his batting average from .091 to .243 over the past week and should have plenty of good days ahead. He’s yet to attempt a stolen base this season which is a bit puzzling, but he certainly has the speed to get 15-20 stolen bases as long as he’s getting on base at a decent clip.
