Kevin Gausman serves up two 2-run HR in Tuesday's no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Blue Jays Correspondent | Wed, Apr 14th 1:25am EDT

RHP Kevin Gausman took a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed five runs on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts over six innings in the Giants 7-6 win over the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

The Cincinnati Reds lead baseball in team home runs and they showed it in the top of the first inning on Tuesday. Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas both corked two-run homers in the opening frame off Gausman, who also gave up an RBI double to Nick Castellanos in the second inning. He still managed seven strikeouts and the Giants offense picked him up so he was handed a no-decision. It's just not really your day when you allow more runs than hits. The hard-throwing righty gets a tough test on the road against the Phillies in his next start.
