John King tiptoes around three-hit outing

by Andersen Pickard | Cardinals Correspondent | Thu, Apr 15th 9:08am EDT

Rangers reliever John King allowed three hits on Wednesday, but he was able to escape without surrendering a run. He struck out one batter and brought his ERA down to 1.50.

Fantasy Impact:

King's outing against the Rays (low run count, high hit rate) closely mirrored his stats from the six total innings that he has tossed this season (1.50 ERA, 1.67 WHIP). He's not fantasy relevant but does continue to provide value to the Rangers as he sneaks his way around allowing the hits turn into runs.
