Merrill Kelly gets the win despite allowing six earned runs

RHP Merrill Kelly earned his first win of the season on Thursday when he allowed six runs on nine hits with five strikeouts and one walk in a 11-6 win over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
Kelly was hit hard all afternoon by the Nats, allowing four runs in the first inning alone but was able to earn the win as the D-backs pounded Patrick Corbin on the other side. He now owns an 8.44 ERA, 1.69 WHIP, and 10:4 K/BB ratio over 16 innings (three starts) this year. He gets the Reds on the road in his next turn and should be avoided at all costs in that one.
