Mike Yastrzemski collects two extra-base hits in Friday's loss

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Sat, Apr 17th 11:36am EDT

Outfielder Mike Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, and a run scored as the Giants fell to the Marlins 4-1 on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Between starter Dan Castano and the Marlins' bullpen, the Giants couldn't get much of anything going on offense. Yastrzemski picked up two of the Giants' five hits and scored the only run for San Francisco. The 30-year-old outfielder really struggled out the gate but has picked it up lately, knocking four hits in the last three games. His .186/.300/.419 batting line still leaves a lot to be desired but he does have two home runs, a pair of doubles, and a triple.
