LHP wandy Peralta was saddled with the loss on Friday when he allowed two runs on three hits with a strikeout over 2/3 of an inning in the Giants' 4-1 loss to the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Matt Wisler started the eighth inning for the Giants with the score tied up at 1-1. He recorded one out but then walked Jesus Aguilar before getting lifted and replaced by Peralta. Peralta then gave up a single to Corey Dickerson and a three-run homer to Starling Marte on just four total pitches. He eventually got out of the inning but the damage was done. He now owns a 4.76 ERA and 1.41 WHIP over 5 2/3 innings. There's no fantasy value here as he rarely pitches in hold opportunities.
