Walker Buehler pitches well but gets no-decision in SD

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Apr 17th 12:20pm EDT

RHP Walker Buehler was handed a no-decision on Friday when he allowed two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk over six innings as the Dodgers took down the Padres 11-6 in extra-innings.

Fantasy Impact:

This was a difficult matchup for Buehler but he performed admirably against the loaded San Diego lineup. He scattered seven hits and a walk over his six innings of work with a Luis Campusano RBI single and a Fernando Tatis Jr. solo shot being his only mistakes. He still ended the game with a quality start but didn't factor into the decision. Buehler has looked as sharp as ever to begin the year, owning a 2.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 12:1 K/BB ratio over 18 innings (three starts). He has a rematch with these same Padres at home in his next turn.
