Eduardo Escobar goes yard again on Saturday

by Jon Mathisen | Sat, Apr 17th 6:39pm EDT

Third baseman Eduardo Escobar went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and a strikeout in the D-Backs 6-2 loss to the Nationals on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Escobar jacked his sixth home run of the year, a solo shot, off reliever Sam Clay in the sixth inning for his only hit of the game. Escobar is now in a three-way tie with Colorado's Ryan McMahon and Detroit's Wilson Ramos with six homers apiece. Fantasy managers can't complain about Escobar's propensity to leave the yard so far but he's been a one-trick pony with just 13 total hits this season, which is a big reason why he's slashing just .232/.283/.589 (56 at-bats)
