Dylan Cease allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six across four 2/3 innings during Saturday’s 7-4 loss to the Red Sox. He didn’t factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease was activated from the injured list ahead of Saturday’s game against the Red Sox. The right-hander has now thrown exactly four 2/3 innings during each of his first three starts in 2021. He owns a 3.86 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and 15 strikeouts across 14 innings this season. Cease should only be rostered in deep-league and AL-Only formats. The 25-year-old will look for better results in his next start versus the Rangers next weekend.
