Second baseman Josh Rojas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, three runs scored, and a walk as the D-Backs took down the Nationals 5-2 on Sunday.
Rojas has been in and out of the lineup this year after starting the season in a 2-for-31 slump. He hit leadoff on Sunday and paid immediate dividends as he jacked his first home run of the year off Paolo Espino in the top of the first. He picked up a single and a walk later in the game and came around to score both times he reached. The 26-year-old utility infielder generated some offseason buzz as the projected everyday leadoff hitter for the D-Backs but he still has a long way to go towards achieving fantasy relevancy.
