Trevor Bauer handed a no-decision on Sunday vs. the Friars
by Jon Mathisen | Sun, Apr 18th 8:16pm EDT
RHP Trevor Bauer took a no-decision on Sunday when he allowed one run on three hits with seven strikeouts and one walk over six innings in the Dodgers 5-2 loss to the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
It was just poor luck that Bauer didn't factor into the decision on Sunday as he looked as sharp as he has all year. He fired off 98 pitches--64 strikes--with his only mistake being a Jake Cronenworth solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. The 30-year-old is rocking a 2.42 ERA, 0.62 WHIP, and 36:6 K/BB ratio over 26 innings (four starts) and has now picked up three consecutive quality starts. He gets a rematch with the Padres, this time at home, in his next turn.
