Braves star OF Ronald Acuna Jr. is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the abdominal strain he suffered in Sunday’s 13-4 win over the Cubs. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Acuna exited Sunday’s game early due to pain in his lower abdominal muscles. The Braves are waiting for the MRI results to determine the severity of Acuna’s injury. Atlanta plays five games this week, starting Tuesday against the Yankees. Fantasy managers in weekly leagues should continue to monitor the situation but have a backup plan in place if Acuna is unable to go. The Braves star OF is considered day-to-day. Stay tuned.
