Charlie Morton goes six solid innings Tuesday

Charlie Morton pitched six innings against the Yankees Tuesday, allowing three hits, one run (earned), and two walks while striking out six batters. It was a no-decision for him although he did earn a quality start. He threw 99 pitches, 64 for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Morton's strongest start of the year although he remains inefficient as evidenced by the high pitch count. Hopefully, as he continues to improve he will be able to earn more quality starts and a few wins for his fantasy managers. In most starts, he'll get more than enough run support to be successful.
