Rays pitching prospect Brent Honeywell Jr. was recalled from the team's alternate training site on Tuesday and appeared in relief against the Royals, allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks over 1 1/3 innings. (Adam Berry on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Tuesday's performance was not nearly as dazzling as his debut against the Yankees last week, but we are still talking about a young pitcher who has hardly pitched over the last few years. He is likely to continue building up his arm at the alternate site and in the upcoming minor league season and will likely taxi back and forth to the big league squad.
