Griffin Canning earns first win of the season in Tuesday's win over Texas

Griffin Canning pitched gave up two runs on two hits with two strikeouts over 2.1 innings of relief work on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Canning relieved Shohei Ohtani, who was on a 75-pitch limit on Tuesday. Aside from giving up a solo home run to Nick Solak in the top of the sixth inning, Canning looked sharp. He continued to produce soft contact and swings and misses, two metrics that Canning ranks in the top-20% of all MLB pitchers. However, his home run issues and 5.68 ERA prevent Canning from being a fantasy-relevant pitcher for the time being.
