Ha-Seong Kim goes 1-3 on Tuesday

by Matt Flipi | Padres Correspondent | Wed, Apr 21st 11:20am EDT

Ha-Seong Kim went 1-3 with a single and a strikeout in the Padres' loss to the Brewers on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

As expected, Kim's playing time has dropped significantly since Fernando Tatis Jr. returned from injury. Kim got the start at third on Tuesday in place of Manny Machado who was given a much needed rest day. Kim was able to reach base twice on Tuesday -- he was hit by a pitch in the fifth and smoked a single to left field in the seventh. Kim's single had an exit velocity of 112 MPH. It's definitely a good sign to see Kim hit a ball so hard, as his average exit velocity has been relatively low to this point in the season. Kim will continue to get opportunities throughout the year, but the number of opportunities will be dependent on the health of the Padres' infield.
