Tommy Pham goes 1-4 on Tuesday

Tommy Pham went 1-4 with with a single and a strikeout in the Padres' loss to the Brewers on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Pham had three hard hit ball events on Tuesday, hitting the balls he put in play 96 MPH, 104, MPH, and 106 MPH. Tuesday's game was an encouraging one for Pham, as he continues to show he can still hit the ball hard. His average exit velocity and hard hit rate are now both in the top quarter in baseball. Additionally, Pham's walk rate remains high and his chase rate is elite. With his plate discipline and ability to hit the ball hard, Pham should break out of his slow start soon. Fantasy managers who have Pham rostered should be patient. Treating Pham as a matchup dependent player is fine for now, but dropping him is too extreme of a measure this early in the season.
