Stephen Strasburg 'felt okay' when throwing Tuesday

Nationals manager Dave Martinez told reporters that right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg "felt okay" when throwing from 75 feet on Tuesday. The 32-year-old landed on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation last Sunday, though the move was retroactive to April 15. (Jesse Dougherty on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While it's relieving that he was able to throw without being shut down, feeling just "okay" isn't a glowing report. In an ideal scenario, the veteran would be feeling much better and approaching a full workload. Still, while his IL stint may last more than 10 days, at least he is making progress. Strasburg is expected to throw a light bullpen soon, followed by a sim game or two a bit later on. He impressed in his first outing, allowing just one hit and zero runs over six innings, but was tagged for eight runs over just four innings his second time out.
