by Andersen Pickard | Padres Correspondent | Wed, Apr 21st 2:56pm EDT

Jake Cronenworth is getting a day off on Wednesday. The Padres' second baseman will open the game on the bench after starting the first 19 contests this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Cronenworth has spent 16 games at second base and three at shortstop this season, as well as two-thirds of an inning on the mound. To this point, he's been impressive at the plate, slashing .293/.357/.427 through an MLB-most 75 at-bats. He also owns four RBI, seven walks, and 10 strikeouts. Ha-Seong Kim will get the spot start at second base. Right-hander Adrian Houser is set to take the mound for the Brewers.
