Alex Colome blows third save

by Matthew Terelle | Twins Correspondent | Wed, Apr 21st 9:02pm EDT

Minnesota Twins closer Alex Colome allowed four runs (one earned) in 1 2/3 innings in a 13-12 loss to Oakland on Wednesday. He struck out one and walked two in the loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Colome was charged with a blown save and given the loss on the afternoon. The veteran reliever was signed as a free-agent in the offseason to solidify the back of the bullpen but things have not gone smoothly as he has a 5.63 ERA and three blown saves on the season. His grip on the ninth-inning role is shaky at best.
