Fantasy Impact:
Mountcastle has .480 OPS through Wednesday, so it's nice to see him provide some value. The 24-year-old is barreling the ball and making hard contact but struggling with plate discipline. His contact% when swinging at pitches outside of the strike zone has fallen from 53.5% last season to 36.4% this season. He's borderline dropable in standard redraft leagues and managers who are holding will want to get him out of their starting lineups for now.
