In Friday's 6-0 loss to the Mets, Erick Fedde allowed three earned runs with four hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. Fedde took the loss since the Nationals couldn't score a single run.

Through four starts, Erick Fedde has a 4.02 ERA and 1.34 WHIP with a 28.3% strikeout rate and 11.3% walk rate. Fedde's cutter resulted in a 25% whiff rate and 30% called strike plus whiff rate (CSW%) in Friday's game. Although that's his best pitch, it's not enough to sustain success in the long run.
