Clayton Kershaw serves up three home runs in loss to SD

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Apr 24th 3:16am EDT

LHP Clayton Kershaw took his second loss of the season on Friday when he surrendered three runs on five hits with one walk and seven strikeouts over seven innings as the Dodgers lost 6-1 to the Padres.

Fantasy Impact:

Kershaw was victimized by the long ball on Friday, serving up three solo shots to Wil Myers and Fernando Tatis Jr. (twice). Kershaw pitched well other than the three fly ball mistakes but Yu Darvish was dealing on the other side so the Dodgers' offense could not pick him up. He still owns an impressive 2.56 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 31 2/3 innings. The southpaw draws the Reds at home in his next turn.
