Tommy Pham goes 1-4 on Friday

Tommy Pham went 1-4 with a single, an RBI, a run scored, and a strikeout in the Padres' win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Pham's 9th inning single came off the bat at 104 MPH. Pham is still hitting just .159 on the season. The good news for fantasy managers is that Pham's walk and strikeout rates have remained steady. Pham has a .204 BABIP so far on the season, which would be the lowest BABIP of his career if it held through the end of the year. Although Pham's exit velocity numbers are down a bit, they haven't decreased enough to account for how low his BABIP is. This means Pham has been relatively unlucky so far this year. As long as his walk rate, strikeout rate, and exit velocity numbers remain stable, Pham's numbers should start fixing themselves as he builds a bigger sample of at-bats.
