Brandon Woodruff (2-0) earned the win Sunday against the Cubs, tossing six scoreless innings while allowing two hits and two walks. He struck out eight.
Fantasy Impact:
Woodruff has faced the Cubs in three of his five starts this season; evidently, they haven't figured him out yet. He was masterful on Sunday, throwing 62 strikes in 91 pitches. Since a mediocre first start, Woodruff has lowered his season ERA to 1.55. He also owns a 34:8 K:BB in 29 innings. He lines up to face the Dodgers next weekend.
