Fernando Tatis Jr. hits 5th home run in past 3 games on Sunday

Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-4 with a home run, a single, two walks, two stolen bases, and a strikeout in the Padres' extra-innings win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Tatis hit his fifth home run of the series off Dustin May in the 4th inning. Tatis was an absolute monster in the four game series against the Dodgers, hitting .444 with 5 home runs. Tatis also showed off his speed in the win on Sunday, stealing two bases. Tatis's numbers are beginning to climb their way back to where fantasy managers expect them to be. This is what can happen when you have a guy like Tatis on your team, as there will be weeks where he can carry an entire fantasy team over the line for a victory. If Tatis can stay on the field and continues to play like this, fantasy managers will soon be laughing about the fact that they ever doubted Tatis because of his slow start. The Padres will face a number of sub-par pitching staffs in May, so a huge month could be coming for Tatis.
