Kenley Jansen handed the loss on Monday

RHP Kenley Jansen was charged with the loss on Monday as he allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit with a walk and a strikeout over one inning in the Dodgers' 5-3 loss to the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Jansen entered the game in the top of the 10th inning a runner already on second base. It didn't take long for him to cough up the lead as Jesse Winker blasted a two-run shot after just two pitches. He also allowed a walk in the frame but didn't allow anyone else to score. This was Jansen's first loss of the season and it ticked his ERA up to 2.61 to go along with a 1.06 WHIP and 13:8 K/BB ratio over 10 1/3 innings. He should remain the closer in LA moving forward.
