Will Smith smacks a three-run homer on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Apr 28th 2:08am EDT

Catcher Will Smith went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and two runs scored as the Dodgers lost to the Reds 6-5 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith smashed a Jeff Hoffman fastball over the center-field wall for a three-run shot in the bottom of the fourth inning. The 26-year-old catcher was in the midst of a home run and RBI drought, having not recorded either since April 5. He's only batting .218 over his 55 at-bats this season but is getting on base at a .389 clip while slugging .473.
