Josh Staumont records four-out save in win over Pirates

Josh Staumont struck out two across one 1/3 perfect innings to earn the save during Wednesday’s 9-6 win over the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact:
Staumont entered the game in the top of the eighth inning to protect a three-run lead. He needed 18 pitches to notch his third save of the season during Wednesday’s win. The 27-year-old is off to a terrific start in 2021, owning a 0.68 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and a 12:5 K:BB across 13 1/3 innings. Staumont is the favorite to close for the Royals and should be rostered in all leagye formats.
