Rangers starter Dane Dunning allowed four runs in the first inning of Wednesday's game, giving the Angels a lead that they never gave up.

Dunning settled down to finish the game with four runs on six hits, a walk, and a strikeout over four innings. He was still credited with the loss, though, falling to 1-1 with a 3.97 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. The 27-year-old right-hander ranks 77th among starting pitchers in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
