The Oakland first basemen took a ball off his eye that ricocheted off the cage during batting practice Thursday and will miss the A's contest against Tampa Bay. The team is still awaiting x-ray results. (Shayna Rubin via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
1B Mitch Moreland will be taking his place in the field and INF Jed Lowrie is set to take Moreland's spot as the typical DH on Thursday. Olson missing any time after Thursday would be a huge loss for Oakland who could potentially be without their star player that has carried the offense at times this season.
