Matt Carpenter strikes again with another pinch-hit home run

For the second consecutive game, Matt Carpenter came off the bench to slug a three-run home run to right field and help propel the Cardinals to victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter crushed a fastball to right center in the sixth inning to blow the game open and now has three homers on the year to go with an unfathomable .116 AVG and .576 OPS. The veteran left-hander has carved out a role off the Cardinals bench but is not worthy of fantasy consideration at this stage of his career.
