1B Carlos Santana went 1-for-3 against the White Sox on Tuesday. He launched a home run off Hector Noesi, took a walk and stole a base.
Fantasy Impact:
Carlos Santana has now more stolen bases than Michael Bourn. Obviously he is no speed-merchant but he is a smart ballplayer, so there is no reason to believe that Santana cannot nab another eight bags this year. Double-digit steals from your first baseman would be a useful bonus. Todd Frazier was the only 1B eligible player to get double-digit steals last year.
