Minnesota Twins right-hander Matt Shoemaker struggled in an 11-3 loss to the Royals on Saturday. Shoemaker allowed nine runs (eight earned) in 3 1/3 innings while striking out none and walking two.
Fantasy Impact:
Shoemaker only held the Royals off of the scoreboard in the second inning and was done in by a five-run fourth. The veteran hurler took the loss, dropping his record to 1-3 with a 7.83 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 23 innings of work.
