The Braves placed catcher Travis d'Arnaud on the 60-day IL with a left thumb sprain. (Atlanta Braves on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's a serious thumb injury for d'Arnaud to wind up on the 60-day injured list. He suffered the injury on Saturday and the Braves are acting quickly. Of course, he can be dropped in all redraft leagues. Atlanta is calling up William Contreras as his replacement.
