Rangers second baseman Nick Solak went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Red Sox. Texas succeeded, but Solak himself struggled, stranding three baserunners along the way.
Solak is now slashing .290/.367/.514 with seven home runs, so it's safe to say the hitless effort didn't hinder his metrics too much. He has added six walks, 15 at-bats, and 36 strikeouts over 29 games this year. The 26-year-old ranks 113th among all hitters in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
