Batting fourth and playing right field, Joey Gallo went 1-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts in Sunday's win over the Red Sox. His one hit came as he stroked a double and later scored.
Fantasy Impact:
Gallo has been a peculiar character this year, slashing just .222/.402/.311 with just two homers this year. Normally a power hitter, his bat has not featured as much pop this year. On the other hand, he has the most strikeouts (45) and second-most walks (24) in all of MLB. He ranks 36th among outfielders in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings.
