Austin Riley went 4-for-4 with four singles and a run scored in Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Riley has a seven-game hitting streak going and if you look back a little further he has a hit in 11 of his last 13 games. In that span, he has three homers, two doubles, and fifteen singles. Why are the singles important? Riley's biggest flaw has been to do damage instead of making contact and putting the ball in play. Now, after listening to hitting coach Kevin Seitzer preach that philosophy, he is hitting well, paying dividends to the team that has always stuck with him. He knows the damage will come, and it will.
