Trent Grisham goes 2-4 on Sunday

Trent Grisham went 2-4 with a single, a double, and two strikeouts in the Padres' loss to the Giants on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Both of the balls that Grisham put in play on Sunday were hard hit ball events. His single came off the bat at 106 MPH and his double came off the bat at 100 MPH. Grisham continues to hit the ball hard at the top of the San Diego lineup, slashing .321/.391/.525 on the young season. Grisham's power production has slowed a bit after getting off to a blazing hot start, but he still managed to hit four home runs in his first month of play in 2021. It will be interesting to see if Grisham can keep this level of production up. If he can, it will likely be a career year for him. The underlying numbers suggest some regression could be coming, but fantasy managers should continue starting him in their lineups until that regression begins to manifest itself.
