George Springer (rest) not in the lineup Monday night

George Springer not appearing in the lineup just three games into his Blue Jays career put some worry into fantasy gamers, but manager Charlie Montoyo has explained it was a "planned rest day" for the outfielder. (Arden Zwelling on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Springer is obviously an extremely valuable bat when in the lineup, and even more so when surrounded by the dangerous bats Toronto has. The Jays have said he should be good to go for Tuesday's contest against Oakland, with hopes that he can begin to play on an everyday basis.
