Myers has cooled down a bit over the past couple weeks after a blazing start to the season. Myers has missed a few games due to minor injuries as well as COVID contact tracing protocols, so it's possible Myers has just gotten out of his rhythm. Myers has maintained his improved strikeout rate over the past couple weeks, which is a good sign. However, he's really struggling to hit the ball hard, ranking in the bottom 10 percent of the league in average exit velocity. If Myers keeps his strikeout rate steady, his combination of speed, playing time, and power potential will still make him a decent fantasy contributor. That being said, Myers has to start hitting the ball hard more consistently for his fantasy value to reach its ceiling.
