Alex Wood gets a no-decision in Tuesday's start

by Jon Mathisen | Athletics Correspondent | Wed, May 5th 1:11am EDT

LHP Alex Wood earned a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed two runs on four hits with a pair of walks and two strikeouts in the Giants' 8-6 loss to the Rockies in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Fantasy Impact:

Wood held the Rockies down through his first three innings before C.J. Cron got him for a two-run homer in the fourth. He limited the damage other than the long ball and has his season ERA down to an impressive 1.96 with a 0.78 WHIP and 22:5 K/BB ratio over 23 innings (four starts). He draws the Rangers at home in his next turn and should be an affordable and solid DFS option in that one.
