Taylor Rogers blows save Tuesday

by Matthew Adam | Giants Correspondent | Wed, May 5th 5:55am EDT

Minnesota Twins left-hander Taylor Rogers allowed two runs (one earned) over 1 1/3 innings in a 6-3 loss to the Rangers on Tuesday. Rogers struck out one and allowed a homer.

Fantasy Impact:

Minnesota's bad luck with closers continues. Rogers was tasked with protecting a 3-1 lead but allowed Texas to tie the game in the ninth inning. Rogers now has a 0-1 record, 2.31 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and two saves in four chances. He just recently wrestled the ninth-inning role away from Alex Colome but his grip on the job may not be all that strong.
