Eric Lauer (1-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing six runs (two earned) on eight hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Lauer surrendered three homers, which accounted for five of the six runs he allowed. His stat line was spared by a Travis Shaw error at third base. Lauer has pitched to a 1.64 ERA in two starts in 2021, with a 10:2 K:BB in 11 innings. Lauer would start next against the Marlins this weekend if he sticks in the rotation.
