Sean Newcomb optioned to Triple-A

The Braves have optioned left-handed pitcher Sean Newcomb to Triple-A Gwinnett. This move comes after Atlanta activated Max Fried from the 10-day injured list. (Atlanta Braves on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Newcomb opened the year on a positive note, allowing just one run on two hits and striking out 12 batters through the first five games. However, in just two games since then, he has surrendered five runs. Thus, he'll head to the minors with Atlanta needing to create room on the roster for Fried.
