Stephen Strasburg (shoulder) to pitch a simulated game on Thursday

Washington Nationals RHP Stephen Strasburg, who's on the injured list with a mid-shoulder injury, is scheduled to pitch in a simulated game on Thursday at Nationals Park, per manager Dave Martinez. (Jesse Dougherty on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez added that Strasburg should throw around 35-40 pitches in the simulated game. It sounds like the 32-year-old right-hander is still building up strength in his arm as there's still no timetable for his return. If all goes well on Thursday then he could be in line for another simulated game before having a rehab assignment.
