Max Fried pitched five innings against the Nationals Wednesday, allowing four hits, one run (earned), and one walk while striking out six batters. It was his first win of the season, standing 1-1 currently. He threw 72 pitches, 45 for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
Fried did well in his return from the IL, flashing some efficiency in what is his best outing thus far. Hopefully, his manager will let him go deeper into games shortly.
