Elieser Hernandez (biceps) to throw BP over the weekend

Fantasy Impact:
Hernandez broke out last season by increasing his k-rate and decreasing his walk rate, but it was only a 25 and two-thirds inning sample (6.80 K/BB). He's basically a two-pitch pitcher (fastball, slider) and saw gains in velocity, swing%, whiff%, and first pitch strike% from 2019 to 2020. However, his velocity was down in 2021, which is probably injury-related. That said, Hernandez is an intriguing sleeper this season.
